The role, offered full- or part-time, will handle daily accounting tasks including general ledger postings, credit card and bank reconciliation, payment preparation, and account reconciliation. The position also involves supporting financial projects like loan and grant applications, conducting ad-hoc analyses, contributing to budgeting and regular reporting, and assisting management with investor communications. The manager will correspond with external accounting support, tax advisors, and other parties.

Candidates must hold a Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung or equivalent with several years of experience, or a bachelor’s in Economics with a strong finance/accounting emphasis. Very good knowledge of Austrian UGB is required, along with a solid grasp of VAT systems—especially in international contexts—and the Austrian tax framework. Experience with accounting software (Odoo preferred), excellent Excel skills, precision, and attention to detail are essential. Fluency in German and English is expected.

Your responsibilities:

• Daily accounting processing general ledger postings

• Credit card and bank reconciliation

• Preparation of payments

• Reconciliation of accounts

• Support in financial projects such as loan/grant applications

• Participate in budgeting and preparation of regular reporting

• Support management team in reporting to investors

Your qualifications:

• Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung or equivalent plus several years of experience or bachelor in Economics with strong
