Doctolib is launching a new startup support program at Station F, Europe's largest startup campus, aimed at accelerating the growth of promising European health tech companies. The initiative, named "Doctolib for Startups," will select and mentor 15 startups per year over a three-year period.
The program is designed to help startups scale by providing access to Doctolib's expertise, network, and resources. Selected companies will benefit from personalized coaching, workshops led by Doctolib leaders and industry experts, and networking opportunities with investors and potential partners. A key component is facilitating connections with healthcare institutions, a critical and often challenging step for health tech firms. The startups will be hosted within Station F in Paris but will not receive direct equity investment from Doctolib.
This move strategically positions Doctolib, a leader in digital health appointment booking, to foster an ecosystem around its platform. By supporting startups that could become future partners or integrate complementary services, Doctolib aims to strengthen its central role in the digital health landscape. The program will focus on startups at the Series A or B stage, particularly those developing solutions for healthcare professionals, patients, or the operational efficiency of healthcare institutions.
The first cohort of 15 startups will be selected by the end of 2024, with applications opening soon. This initiative underscores the growing consolidation and ecosystem-building within the European health tech sector, with major players like Doctolib actively shaping the next generation of innovation.
