Peanuts Group, a French company, has launched Data Peanuts, a SaaS platform designed for electronic component management, with built-in support for the forthcoming Digital Product Passport (DPP). The DPP is a major regulatory shift driven by EU requirements, expected to come into force by 2027, mandating that electronic products carry detailed digital records covering everything from materials sourcing to end-of-life handling. Data Peanuts allows industrial players to start aligning with these obligations immediately, integrating DPP capabilities into their component management workflows ahead of the deadline to streamline compliance and future-proof operations.
