Luceda Photonics, based in Dendermonde, Belgium, is a high-tech company automating the design flow for photonic integrated circuits (PICs). The company is hiring a Marketing Communication Expert & Event Coordinator to shape and execute its marketing vision alongside sales, marketing, and HR teams. The role focuses on communicating Luceda’s value proposition, building a strong employer brand to attract talent, cultivating an international community, and managing events that expand the partner network and customer base.

Key responsibilities span: supporting sales, marketing, and HR; planning and organizing physical and virtual events—including webinars, keynotes, training, and international tradeshows; shaping and promoting Luceda’s corporate and employer brand across all channels; handling marketing communication (social media, website, newsletters, press releases); creating and distributing job postings; and setting up reporting systems to track event performance quarterly and yearly, as well as social media and website analytics.

The role reports to Product Marketing Manager Chiara Alessandri and HR Manager Joris Geessels, with support from Management Assistant Karine De Backer. Collaboration extends to the Shanghai office, the entire Luceda team, and external partners such as Europractice, JePPIX, CMC, foundries, and European project consortia.

Candidates should hold a relevant degree or experience in marketing, events management, or a related field. International experience is a plus. Excellent English communication skills, organizational prowess, a creative and detail-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently and learn quickly are essential. A genuine motivation to dive into the photonics industry is also expected.

Event planning: Researching and planning attendance at relevant events; Organizing webinars, keynote presentations, training, events and international tradeshows

Luceda’s brand: Shaping Luceda’s company and employer brand; Communicating Luceda’s brand and values to our customers and partners through all communication channels

Marketing communication: Managing social media channels, website; Preparing newsletters and press releases

Recruitment communication: Create and manage job postings on social media and website

Reporting: Creating a reporting system to summarize each event’s performance metrics and overall performance per quarter and per year; Reporting on analytics from social media and website

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Degree or experience in marketing, events management, or relevant field

Relevant experience within an international organization is a plus

Exceptional communication skills in English (written & spoken)

Experience organizing physical and/or virtual events
