Teradyne is strengthening its automated test portfolio with the acquisition of Israeli company TestInsight, a move aimed at improving semiconductor test software and shortening time-to-market for chips, especially in artificial intelligence and data center applications.
Teradyne, a major player in automatic test systems for electronics, said the deal will bolster its software capabilities across development and validation workflows. TestInsight specializes in software for development, validation and related testing processes, making it a strategic fit as chipmakers face rising complexity and tighter product cycles.
The acquisition underscores Teradyne’s push to expand beyond hardware into software-driven test optimization, with the goal of helping semiconductor customers accelerate qualification and deployment of next-generation chips.
