The Cartier Women's Initiative has officially launched its call for applications for the 2027 edition of its global entrepreneurship program. The annual awards aim to identify, support, and scale impact-driven businesses led by women founders.
Open to women-run and women-owned businesses from any country and sector, the initiative focuses on early-stage ventures that demonstrate strong sustainable and social impact potential. Selected fellows will gain access to a comprehensive support package, including a one-on-one business mentoring program, media visibility, networking opportunities with international investors and community peers, and participation in a series of tailored workshops covering leadership, strategy, and financial modeling.
A key component of the program is financial grant funding. In 2027, the three top laureates—one for each of the main award categories—will each receive USD $100,000 in grant money. The second-place finalists in each category will be awarded USD $30,000. Since its inception in 2006, the Cartier Women's Initiative has awarded over $10 million in grants to more than 330 female entrepreneurs from 66 countries.
The application process for the 2027 cycle is now open and will close on June 30, 2025. Interested founders can find detailed eligibility criteria and submit their applications through the initiative's official website.
