Morse Micro, an Australian semiconductor specialist in Wi-Fi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah), has signed a global distribution agreement with DigiKey to put its long-range, low-power wireless technology directly into the hands of developers worldwide. The partnership aims to accelerate the growth of long-distance, battery-efficient IoT by making Morse Micro’s chips and modules readily available through DigiKey’s extensive online platform.
Wi-Fi HaLow operates in the sub‑1 GHz spectrum, offering up to ten times the range of conventional Wi‑Fi while maintaining low energy consumption—making it well-suited for large-scale industrial, agricultural, smart city, and logistics applications. Through this collaboration, engineers and integrators can now rapidly prototype and deploy HaLow-based solutions, leveraging DigiKey’s global logistics to shorten design cycles and scale production.
