Registration is now open for the Xecs Matchmaking Event 2026, a key forum for organizations preparing collaborative project proposals for Xecs Call 6. The event, organized by the Eureka Cluster Xecs (operated by AENEAS), will be held on October 6–7 in Vienna.

This gathering is designed to connect players across the Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) value chain—including SMEs, large companies, research and technology organizations (RTOs), and academic institutions. Participants can pitch project ideas, showcase expertise, and form consortia through targeted networking.

The 2026 edition expands to a two-day format to deepen engagement. Day one focuses on matchmaking, idea pitches, and networking. Day two is dedicated to practical project-building sessions covering consortium creation, proposal preparation, and project execution. The event will utilize the AENEAS Events Platform, which offers tools to submit and browse project ideas, schedule meetings, and connect with partners before, during, and after the event.

Held back-to-back with the Smart Eureka Cluster Event, the matchmaking will attract a broad European innovation community, positioning Vienna as a central hub for digital and deep-tech collaboration this autumn. Attendees can expect insights into Xecs Call 6 and Eureka, pitches and posters from SMEs and project leads, success stories from existing Xecs projects, and structured face-to-face meetings.
