ECS-SRIA 2027 Consultation Now Open: Your Input Matters!

European industry associations AENEAS, EPoSS, and INSIDE have launched the consultation process to develop the 2027 edition of the Electronic Components and Systems Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (ECS-SRIA 2027). This marks the tenth iteration of the strategic planning document.
The associations are calling on members of the ECS community to provide targeted feedback on the current ECS-SRIA 2026 via an online form. Contributors are asked to focus on proposing concise, high-impact updates, as well as identifying any inconsistencies or outdated information within the existing chapters. The consultation is intentionally streamlined this year, as the primary goal is to integrate minor refinements before a more substantial adaptation to the new Horizon Framework Programme in the following cycle.
The submission deadline is 10 May 2026. All feedback will be reviewed by the relevant Chapter Teams for potential inclusion in the final ECS-SRIA 2027, which is scheduled for presentation at the EFECS 2026 conference in Helsinki.
To participate, users must navigate to the specific chapter they wish to comment on via the ECS-SRIA website. The feedback form is located below the table of contents on the left-hand side of each chapter page. The form includes fields for required information and an additional dedicated section for reporting inconsistencies or outdated content. Users can also attach images and other elements using the editor toolbar.

You may also include images and other elements by using the icons above the content editor. This year, our focus is on incorporating minor changes before adapting the SRIA to the new Horizon Framework Programme next year. We therefore kindly ask you to concentrate on the most important changes and to keep your input concise. We would also appreciate it if you could review the existing chapters for inconsistencies and outdated information.
